Rathwood refunds and complaints in Ireland: orders and next steps
Waiting for a Rathwood order or refund? Check the dated company update, keep your payment evidence and separate older orders from new purchases.
Check your dispute first
Answer a few questions to see your options before writing your complaint.
Check your optionsIf you are waiting for a Rathwood order or refund, first check the date and seller on your order confirmation. Keep your payment record and any promise of delivery or repayment. Use Rathwood’s current contact page to ask for a written update specific to your order.
TBD is independent and is not affiliated with this company. We help you prepare a complaint; we cannot promise a refund or decide who is legally responsible.
What Rathwood’s August 2026 update says
Rathwood’s published August 2026 update says it is under new management following investment by Evergreen Home and Garden Holdings. It also says some customers are still waiting for refunds or access to gift cards and loyalty points for orders placed before 24 April 2026. It says further news will be posted on that page.
That statement does not confirm that your refund has been approved or paid. It does not establish who is responsible for every older order. Keep dated copies of updates and any documents addressed to you; an older notice may contain a deadline that has already passed.
Ask about your own order
Give the order number, order date, amount paid and requested outcome. Ask which business is dealing with the order and whether a delivery or refund date can be confirmed. Keep older orders separate from any new purchase so the replies and payments can be matched correctly.
If you paid by card
Contact your bank promptly to ask whether a chargeback is available and what evidence and deadline apply. Give it the payment date, order confirmation and attempts to resolve the problem. Eligibility depends on the transaction and card scheme; a chargeback is not an automatic refund.
A message you can adapt
“I placed order [number] on [date] and paid [amount]. Your message dated [date] said [delivery/refund position]. Please confirm the current status, the business handling my order and the next step. I attach my order confirmation and payment record.” This wording is illustrative and should be edited to match your records.
Before taking further action
If you receive creditor, court or restructuring documents, seek advice about their effect on your particular claim and any deadline. Do not assume a general complaint form or this guide replaces the procedure in those documents. TBD cannot confirm repayment or determine the liability of the new management.
